Gambling Hearts

The work of singer/songwriter Simon Rowe is brought to life under the name Gambling Hearts. Since the break up of Rowe's former band, Salisbury based Cast Iron Shores, Gambling Hearts has provided a new and exciting outlet for Simons music. Heartfelt and intelligent lyrics entwined with his genius sense of melody fimly places Rowe on a line of great songwriters alongside many of his heroes including Bob Dylan, Elliot Smith & The Beatles. 'In The Dark' is a collection of beautifully crafted songs displaying Simon's inate talent for songwriting as well as his ability to re-interprate and rejuvinate other peoples songs as displayed on his glorius cover of The Posies 'Every Bitter Drop'. The October Game

The October Game is the collision of different minds becoming one for the sole purpose of creating wonderfully eclectic and heartfelt music, carrying intricate and poetic lyrics that can both challenge and comfort a listener in the same breathe. Box Of A Billion Lights sees the band infusing elements of folk, classical music and electronica into an undeniably english indie rock sound. This work was predominantly performed and recorded by The October Game at their homes in Bedfordshire, their friends lending a hand with some additional performances.
